Volunteer Information
Volunteering at the Green Bay YMCA Ski & Sport Sale is not only fun, but its a great way to support the YMCA and youth camping programs. If you are interested in helping with this year's sale, please fill out the contact form below. (Volunteer hours can be used towards community service requirements for high school clubs, graduation, confirmation, etc.)
We emphasize:
- Service to Customers, Volunteers, and Dealers
- Security to protect everyone's equipment
- Safety for everyone
Tips for volunteers:
- Please sign in with the Volunteer Coordinator each time you work and for security reasons, you MUST wear your name tag at all times.
- The blaze orange vests are for floor volunteers and security to help customers identify workers.
- You may be asked a lot of questions. If you are not sure, please check the customer service table.
- Know your role and make sure you understand it. If you need help, ask one of the team leaders.
- Volunteers who contribute at least 2 hours of service are allowed to purchase equipment in advance AFTER 3 pm on Saturday and MUST follow the identified procedures for pre-sales. All pre-sale items must be labeled with your name on a pre-sale tag. Please do not attempt to put equipment aside without following the above procedure.
- Be flexible, help where you can, and HAVE FUN!
